The BDJ-STEM recognizes that each male scholar is unique, and through developing a positive self-image, each one can experience his individual worth and dignity as a human being.
By sustaining a caring and nurturing environment, the BDJ-STEM creates for male scholars a school that is not only safe but also welcoming, that fosters curiosity and a sense of wonder, and that awakens a love of learning. The BDJ-STEM encourages each young man to learn and grow to his fullest.
Believing that parents are the primary educators of their children the BDJ-STEM fosters positive social skills first taught at home, that can be shared with the wider community. It is our aim to prepare male scholars to take their rightful place as contributing and participatory members of our city, state, nation and world, by helping them to recognize the interdependence of our society and by encouraging them to take an active and positive role in shaping their community and the world.
